At Terra Quinta, food is not just a service — it is an essential part of the retreat experience.

Every meal is designed as a moment of care, grounding, and pleasure. A simple, vibrant, and generous cuisine inspired by nature and shaped by the rhythm of the seasons.

Here, we eat what the earth provides. And we share it with presence.

From garden to table: ultra-fresh, seasonal ingredients

A large part of the vegetables and aromatic herbs used in our menus come directly from our own vegetable garden.

Depending on the season, you will find:

  • sun-ripened tomatoes

  • courgettes, aubergines, and peppers

  • fresh herbs (basil, mint, coriander, rosemary)

  • crisp salads and leafy greens

  • seasonal fruits when nature allows

This close connection to the land gives each dish a unique energy: alive, simple, and real.

A nourishing, plant-forward and creative cuisine

Terra Quinta’s menus are mainly vegetarian and vegan, designed to support guests throughout their retreat journey.

Each meal is balanced, colorful, and inspired by Mediterranean cuisine with a creative touch.

A typical menu may include:

Breakfast

  • Plant-based porridge with fresh fruit and seeds

  • Homemade granola

  • Fresh bread with nut butters

  • Fresh juices or herbal infusions from the garden

Lunch

  • Colorful Buddha bowls with roasted garden vegetables

  • Complete salads with legumes, quinoa, or brown rice

  • Homemade hummus and vegetable dips

  • Seasonal vegetable tarts

Dinner

  • Daily vegetable soup

  • Warm and comforting dishes (mild curry, roasted vegetables, lentil dhal)

  • Fresh sides with herbs from the garden

  • Light dessert (fruit, homemade compote, or dark chocolate)

Each meal is designed to support yoga, meditation, and transformational work.

The fine grocery corner: little crunchy delights

At the heart of Terra Quinta, our small fine grocery corner offers homemade treats and carefully selected healthy snacks.

You will often find:

  • freshly baked cookies

  • cacao, date and nut energy balls

  • dried fruits and seed mixes

  • herbal teas from the garden

  • artisanal jams

  • small nourishing snacks between practices

These little extras have become true rituals for many guests — a moment of comfort between deep practices and inner work.

Food that supports transformation

Beyond taste, our intention is simple: to nourish deeply.

The cuisine at Terra Quinta supports retreat processes by encouraging:

  • mental clarity

  • stable, sustained energy

  • grounding in the body

  • a sense of lightness and vitality

Meals become moments of integration, where the body absorbs as much as the mind.

A full sensory experience

Eating at Terra Quinta is also a sensory journey:

  • the scent of fresh herbs

  • the colors of vibrant dishes

  • the sound of shared conversations around long tables

  • the simplicity of being together

Here, food connects. It gathers. It softens.

Cooking with care and intention

Every dish is prepared with attention, aligned with the rhythm of retreats and the needs of each group.

Our kitchen team works closely with organizers to adapt menus when needed: detox programs, light cleansing diets, energizing meals, or more indulgent options depending on the retreat focus.

What if food was part of the journey?

At Terra Quinta, we believe transformation also happens through what we eat.

Food influences energy, clarity, presence, and the ability to slow down and feel.

That is why we have chosen a cuisine that is simple, living, and deeply nourishing.

Not designed to impress — but to support.

Come and experience Terra Quinta

Every retreat is unique, but all share one thing in common: guests remember the food.

Because it is real. Because it is alive. Because it is made with care.

And often, it is around the table that some of the most meaningful moments of a retreat unfold.

Welcome to Terra Quinta — from garden to table, and beyond.
