Oh my god I am joining my very first retreat !

Here I Go, I'm joining my very first retreat at Terra Quinta!


Finally, a moment just for me under the sunny skies of Portugal!

I’ve made up my mind—I'm embarking on an unprecedented adventure: my very first wellness retreat! My inner weather is a mix of excitement and nervousness, like a delightful storm brewing. The idea of dedicating time to my personal well-being feels both liberating and a bit unsettling. BUT I’m going for it!

Taking time just for myself? What a strange idea!

Between work, the kids, outings with friends, and of course, my husband, where can I find that precious time? How can I justify sneaking away when everyday life seems to always demand more? The "always more" lady needs a break, and she is granting herself this enchanted interlude to forget her to-do list and all the daily pressures. I must prioritize myself in my own life. Oh, how beautiful that sounds!


Action

I stop overthinking and decide to take action. After a long search for a place conducive to disconnection, I chose Terra Quinta in Portugal.

The reputation of this wellness center instantly captivated me: an enchanting setting, a soothing atmosphere, and activities centered around well-being and relaxation.

I’m convinced that this European destination, easily accessible by plane and just 30 minutes from Lisbon Airport, with its natural beauty and warm ambiance, is the perfect place for me to recharge.


A promise of relaxation and discovery

As the days draw closer, I can already imagine the program that awaits me...

Sunrise yoga sessions, walks in nature, silent meditation, ceramics workshops, and enriching exchanges with fellow participants—not to mention the detox aspect: no phone, no snacking, and finally a genuine protocol to recover a sylph-like figure!

I also dream of all the treatments I will enjoy: Ayurvedic therapies and drainage massages with warm oils.

I yearn for healthy, delicious, and colorful meals that celebrate local produce. Every detail of this retreat resonates with me as a promise of relaxation and discovery.


My expectations

I expect to reconnect not only with my body but also with my emotions. I want to regain my balance, calm my mind, and leave behind the stress of everyday life. I am eager to dive into this experience, to welcome this time for myself, and to rediscover what makes my heart sing.

So here it is, the big leap! I’m diving into this new adventure, a bit like a child discovering the world. Participating in my very first retreat at Terra Quinta in Portugal is the perfect opportunity to refocus, let go, and celebrate the present moment. In the end, taking time for oneself is not a luxury but a necessity. I’m ready to embrace this unique experience and return transformed. Here’s to my journey towards serenity and revitalization under the Portuguese sun!
